IF YOU HAVEN'T READ ANY OF THE OTHER.......

After all of the emotions and dealing with Em concerning Kenny's death. I still had to finalize plans for vacation and the upcoming Ritchie family reunion. The first couple weeks of July I just tried to keep the house in some semblence of order and as I thought of things that I needed to do or things that I needed to pack I would grab things and put them in a box or write down the things that I needed to grab just before leaving. I started actually loading things on the weekend before leaving.
We left for Idaho Falls on July 14. Early afternoon I went out to Emmett and picked up my nephew Robert. He was going over to spend the vacation time with my brother, and his mom and brother and sisters. We were supposed to leave town at about 4:30. I got into Shanes office Just a few minutes before we were supposed to leave. He wasn't quite done with things that he needed to finish up. So Robert and I went and got a drink for each of us and by the time we got back to the office Shane was ready to go. Em was riding with friends to Pocatello and was to spend the next couple of days with them. Just before we were all ready to go Gina called and said that they had a minor repair that needed to be done on their car so she and the girls would just travel alone.
Shane, Robert and I were just about ready to leave town when Shane asked me were the dog was. I had forgotten to bring her with me, NUTS! So we had to turn around, during 5:00 rush hour, and go clear home to pick up the dog. Well that really wasn't so bad because that way we were able to get back with Gina and the girls and caravan across the state.
