I HAVE BEEN TOTALLY LAZY ABOUT UPDATING......
Not sure what my problem has been. We have had alot going on and alot to tell about. I just haven't been able to get myself to settle down and write. I am always on the computer, I just haven't had it in me to talk about me.
Starting with Halloween Weekend. We had JIZR and TRON over on Sunday night for dinner. I made meatloaf which is one of my hubby's favorites. My niece and nephew both showed up that evening also. I am sure glad that I made a double batch. I had enough to feed everybody.
Halloween night my niece showed up again we watched "THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL" an old black and white sci fi flick. We had ALOT of trick or treaters this year. The past 4 years we have had mostly teenagers and very few of those. This year we had alot of little kids with their parents. It was alot of fun.
Friday last week my next door neighbor called and told me that if I wanted some apples from her trees that I was welcome to come and get some. They were almost over ripe but, they made some really good Apple Butter and Apple Sauce. I spent 6 hours on Friday nignt and 10 hours on Saturday cutting, cooking, smashing, and bottling apples. It was worth every minute of it however. I even bottled the juice that was on the apples as I cooked them so that I can now go back and use the juice to make Apple Jelly. I like to make this jelly at christmas time. You put red food coloring in it to make it a really pretty color then just before you take the jelly off of the stove you add a few drops of cinnamon oil. YUMMY. I probably ought to get that done today. I am hoping to drive over to Idaho Falls on Thursday and I could take this over to IF to leave as Christmas Gifts.
After cooking all day we sat down to watch Star Wars III. I think that I may have gotten in on about 30 to 45 minutes of it. I fell promptly to sleep. I fought it to.
