THE WEEKEND OF THE WEDDING WAS APROACHING....
I got the car all loaded the on Wednesday night. We were ready to pull out of town the next day as soon as Emily got home from school. Well on Thursday morning she decided that she would just take the whole day off. We were supposed to have just taken her out the last period of the day.
I thought "Great." We'll be able to get out of town early in the day. Then Shane decided that because she decided to take the day off so would he. I thought, "even Greater." With him home we should be able to get out of town by Noon. That way we would be sure to get to Idaho Falls before 6:00 pm, which was the time that my sister Janece had planned a Baby Shower just so that Em and I could be there. She is expecting a baby on Oct. 5. This would be just perfect. I could NOT get Shane and Emily out of bed. We left here at about 1:00pm, still not bad timing. We didn't even get into Boise and the CHECK TRANSMISSION light came on in the car. Well that blew a trip to IF right out of the water. Check My Spiritual Blog for the details. To make a very long story short. They have had my car for 8 days. The lady from the service department called me just before 5:00 tonight and said that they would be done with the car tomorrow some time. Earlier in the day she didn't expect to have it done until Monday because they needed to order a part. They ended up finding a part here in town and they will get done sooner. The Extended Warranty that we bought will cover all of the time and repairs. We will just owe the 200.00 for the deductible.

DIDN'T DO MUCH TODAY.......
I have had a bad time sleeping again. I actually slept really good last night. Probably because I did alot of walking yesterday. So Shane and I went out and walked again tonight. I am actually ready to sleep I just wanted to blog first.
We have had a cat disappear this weekend. Em is really upset about her being gone. We went out today and passed out fliers to neighbors hoping to find her. A couple of girls about middle school age said that they had seen her last night. I just hope that she comes home one of these days.

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 5, 2005 THE LAST DAY.......
of the Labor Day Weekend. Em, some of her friends Eric Smart a friend of Phillips and I went to Merrill Park thisafternoon and spent about an hour taking pictures of the kids. We just can't afford to have a professional photographer come and take pictures of Em outdoors so Eric and I took pictures. Then thisevening at about 5:00 pm JIZR and TRON came along and we went to a local park and took more pictures. Mostly of Em this time but there were some of her boyfriend Mike and some of them together. We were gone the better part of 3 hours doing this. We got some really great pictures of her though. Brian really has an eye for taking photos. We also chose a couple of locations down town with interesting landmarks and got pics. All in all we probably took
250 pictures between Eric, Brian, and I. WOW!

LABOR DAY WEEKEND....................
and no where to go and no money to do anything. Bummer. We just sat around and watched a movie thisafternoon. Then ran to the grocery store tonight.... Woopie. Oh well we are back to Eastern Idaho in a couple of weeks for a nephews wedding. This ought to be interesting at the price of gas these days. In an SUV. We really need to rethink the SUV thing in the future I suppose. Maybe some day when we can afford to purchase another vehicle. Not right now.
I KNOW THAT I SHOULD BE DOING SOMETHING, I JUST CAN'T SEEM TO GET MOTIVATED.
